Job Search Support: A program that provides women with support and tools needed to find employment with the ultimate goal of economic self-sufficiency. Computer classes in Microsoft Word, Excel and more are available as well as one-on-one assistance with the job search process including resume writing and interview coaching.
Parent Awareness: A family-focused program that provides support and education to parents and children in order to encourage the healthy, positive development of Darien youth and families.
Child Enrichment Programs: Toddler Time and Summer Fun are nurturing drop-off programs for your two year-olds which feature story time, free play, arts and crafts, outdoor play and music lead by two caring teachers in each class. Beginning June 2012, children can be enrolled for more than one day per week.
Social Programs: Newcomers, Working Moms, Gourmet, Winetasters, International Club, Book Clubs, Town Club, gardening classes, organized playgroups and seasonal sports such as fitness classes, paddle tennis and golf are programs that support the fabric of Darien and improve the overall quality of life of residents.
